Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of your credentials
  • All activities under your account
  • Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access

Prohibited Accounts

You may not create accounts that:

  • Impersonate others
  • Are automated or bot-operated
  • Violate these terms
  • Are created to circumvent restrictions

Rules for Businesses

Accuracy Requirements

You must provide accurate information including:

Business name & manager name
Genuine photos of your establishment
Actual services offered
Real pricing information

Availability Management

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your availability calendar up to date
  • Honoring appointments booked through the platform
  • Setting realistic service durations
  • Updating availability during holidays or closures

Customer Communication

Response Time

Aim to respond to booking requests within 24 hours

Customer Phone Numbers

Customers may provide optional mobile numbers. They can choose to hide these numbers from you when booking. If hidden, you may not be able to contact them for coordination.

Customer Privacy

You will see customer names for bookings, but not their email addresses

Service Quality

Services must be delivered as described in your business profile. Quality issues between you and customers are not mediated by BookMeTo.

Profile Information

You must provide:

  • A real name (you can change it anytime)
  • A valid email address for booking confirmations
  • Accurate information when booking
  • Optional mobile phone number (you can choose to hide it from businesses when booking)

Mobile Number Privacy: You can choose to hide your mobile number from businesses when booking. If hidden, the business may not be able to contact you for coordination. You accept responsibility for any communication issues that may result.

Your email is not shared with businesses

Cancellation & No-Shows

You agree to:

  • Respect each business's cancellation policy
  • Cancel appointments you cannot attend
  • Avoid excessive last-minute cancellations
  • Understand businesses may set no-show penalties
  • Provide accurate contact information if you want to be contacted about changes

Respectful Interaction

Treat businesses and their staff with respect. Harassment, abusive behavior, or unreasonable demands may result in account suspension.

BookMeTo is a booking facilitation platform only. We connect customers with businesses but are not a party to the actual service transaction.

Important: No Service Payments

BookMeTo does not process payments for services. All payments for actual services are arranged directly between you and the business according to their payment methods.

We only process subscription fees for businesses using our platform.

Communication Guidelines

Mobile Number Privacy System

Customer Control

  • Optional phone number collection
  • Hide/show per booking choice
  • Accept communication consequences

Business Access

  • See numbers only if not hidden
  • Cannot see hidden numbers
  • Cannot change customer's privacy choice

Communication Consequences

If Customer Hides Number

Business cannot contact them via phone. Customer accepts responsibility for missed communications, appointment changes, or cancellations.

If Customer Shows Number

Business can contact them for coordination. Business agrees to use number only for booking-related communication.

Email Communication

Important email policies:

  • Customer emails are never shared with businesses
  • BookMeTo sends booking confirmations and reminders
  • Businesses cannot contact customers via email through the platform
  • All platform notifications are sent from BookMeTo email addresses

For privacy reasons, direct email contact between parties is not facilitated.

7-Day Money-Back

Full refund within 7 days of subscription purchase

Content & Ownership

Business Photos & Content

You Own Your Content

Photos, logos, and business information remain your property

Limited License to Us

You grant us permission to display your content on BookMeTo

We Don't Resell

We don't sell or license your content to third parties

Platform Intellectual Property

All BookMeTo software, designs, logos, and platform features are our intellectual property. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or reverse engineer our software
  • Use our branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on our platform
  • Scrape or systematically collect data from BookMeTo

Reviews & Ratings (Future Feature)

If we implement a review system in the future:

  • Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences
  • Businesses below 2/5 rating may get 10 days to improve
  • Fake or malicious reviews may be removed
  • You grant us license to display your reviews

Liability & Disputes

Communication Issues

We are not responsible for communication problems when customers choose to hide their mobile numbers from businesses

What We Are

A booking facilitation platform connecting parties

What We Are Not

A party to service transactions or quality guarantor

Service Issues

Resolve directly with the business, we don't mediate

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BookMeTo shall not be liable for:

  • Direct, indirect, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Service quality issues between users
  • Communication issues resulting from hidden phone numbers
  • Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
  • Miscommunications between businesses and customers

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Dispute Resolution

If issues arise:

  1. Direct Communication: Try resolving directly with the other party
  2. Platform Assistance: We may help facilitate communication (not mediation)
  3. Formal Process: If unresolved, follow dispute procedures below

Note: Communication disputes due to hidden phone numbers are the customer's responsibility.

Termination & Account Deletion

Account Deletion by Users

For Customers

  • Email request to privacy@bookmeto.com
  • Mobile numbers also deleted
  • Complete deletion within 30 days
  • Booking history removed

For Businesses

  • Must handle all future bookings first
  • Verification of account ownership required
  • Financial records may be retained as required by law

Account Suspension by BookMeTo

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Multiple substantiated complaints (5+ complaints)
  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • Harmful or abusive behavior towards other users
  • Misuse of customer phone numbers (if provided)

Businesses with multiple complaints will receive email notification and may have accounts suspended pending review.

Data After Termination

Immediately

Account deactivated, no new activity

Within 30 Days

Personal data deleted from active systems

Phone Numbers

Deleted along with account data

Backup Systems

Data may persist in backups for up to 90 days

Legal Requirements

Some data retained as required by applicable law

General Terms

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do:

  • We'll update the "Effective Date" at the top
  • Businesses will be notified via email
  • Continued use after changes means you accept them
  • Material changes may have specific acceptance requirements

It's your responsibility to review Terms periodically.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BookMeTo regarding use of the platform.

They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
